This is a solitary homestead I spotted from the coach, high up on a hillside.

This one was by the side of the road. Picturesque, but not really typical of Turkey.

And now for something completely different, and more typical - apartment buildings in town. Balconies everywhere, as in Greece, also the solar hot water heaters on rooftops.

Here's a huge apartment complex, far from a town.

I don't know the purpose of this building, but it's wonderful - the picture was taken from the coach in passing.

Turkey was a land of flowers - this lovely garden was at the center of a a cross-roads.
