This is the main classroom and administration building at the Paasikivi Opisto Folk School, on the island of Kakskerta near Turku. This was our tour headquarters in Finland.

Another view of the classroom building.

The entrance to our ldormitory lodging. The building next to this had a sauna and pool, which we were able to use one evening - wonderful after a long day of touring.

Some people find garbage removal fascinating! This is the Finnish equivalent of a dumpster.

The shore of an inlet of the Baltic Sea was about 1/4 mile away from our dorm. A beautiful day.

Like dandelions in Norway and lilacs in Sweden and Denmark, lupines were everywhere in Finland.

And here's my footprint in the shore of the Baltic Sea. The photo I lost of my footprint in the North Sea looked pretty much the same.

We had a special Finnish dinner on the third evening at this folk school, served in a boat.

And acapella harmony entertainment.
