These are the pictures I took this morning at the Woodstock Memorial Day Parade, followed by a short program and speech by a Coast Guard Commander. This event always makes me tear up and remember how glad I am to live here. Hundreds of people (maybe all of Woodstock) turn out to cheer the flag and the servicemen, and everyone - young and old - stays to hear the speeches and the patriotic tunes by the Woodstock Cornet Band. It's America at its finest, and I hope it lives on forever. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
