About a dozen women who are regular members of my Hubster's church and also knitters are meeting once a month to knit prayer shawls and other charity items. They've asked me to join them although I'm not a member of the congregation, or even attend services more than three times a year. But I can't pass up a chance to meet with other knitters. I couldn't get to this month's meeting because I am working at the antique shop on the scheduled day, but I hope to make it next month. In the meantime, the current project is warm hats and scarves for homeless people in Boston, which the Youth Group will be delivering in late January. So my needles are busy with brown wool for as many hats and I can make in a month or until my dark wool stash runs out.
