There are miles and miles of lovely and lonely beaches on the western side of Norway. The Jaeren beaches have dunes, gentle surf, beach grass and a lighthouse in the distance, reminding me a great deal of Cape Cod. The entire area is protected by conservation regulations. and we visited a nearby information center and museum. The photo below was pulled off the Internet (again, my photos were lost).
This is the only photo of the beach taken by Steve.
On the drive back to our lodging, we passed by this beautiful and very still lake. The reflections were awesome.
Here we are with Jonny, our ever-so-friendly and helpful leader. who helped make Norway so delightful.
