Continuing with the tour of Paris - here are two pictures taken from the second tier of the Eiffel Tower, one looking up, and the other looking down. Those little pink dots you see on the bridge over the Seine are runners waiting for the start of the road race. There were thousands! That photo is also cool because you can see the shadow of the tower on the left. We were at the base of the tower for about an hour watching the runners arrive and waiting for the ticket office to open. The hotel we stayed at was only two blocks away, on the opposite side to the bridge so we didn't have to wind our way through the runners. Hubster went all the way to the top of the tower, but that was definitely not for me.

I'm making about a dozen little knitted sweater ornaments to include with Christmas cards to some favorite people. They are fun to make - I'm doing about one a day, and using up scrap yarn. I'm going to try my hand at making little bitty wire hangers for them also.
